Learning, Connecting, Creating – our projects for children and young people

The aim of our work is to strengthen democratic awareness, critical media literacy, and self-efficacy, as well as the social visibility of young people in intercultural exchange: their topics and needs should become visible to society, and their voices should be heard.

To achieve this, we aim to provide as many young people as possible—including those with disabilities—equal access to opportunities for non-formal education and the experience of value-based multi-perspectivity.

To this end, we develop activating cultural and ecological educational programmes, as well as community-oriented media education offers and local, up-to-date historical and political education. Our projects directly connect to the everyday realities and the private and professional needs of young people.

The castle with its campus and its direct connection to the international Berlin–Kostrzyn (Küstrin) railway line offers young people a relaxing and vibrant learning environment.

Here we present a selection of projects that reflect the range of our work.

With a special focus on encounters with institutions in the cross-border German-Polish region and in Eastern Europe, we develop partnerships and projects with both school-based and extracurricular educational institutions.
