What makes it unique is that the student café ‘Kaffee zum Glück’ combines culinary delights with an inclusive German-Polish educational project run by Trebnitz Castle--the only educational institution with its own village shop!

In the Trebnitz village shop, you will find a wide selection of regional products in addition to everyday essentials. Look forward to a hearty lunch snack, homemade cake, and freshly brewed coffee – ideal for a short break or a quick shopping trip.

Café "Kaffee zum Glück / Kawa na szczęście”
Since 2013, within the framework of the project “Kaffee zum Glück / Kawa na szczęście,” we have been offering coffee and homemade cake every weekend during the season. In this project, disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged young people from Germany and Poland learn how to run a café together.

The café “Kaffee zum Glück” was selected by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) as Project of the Month in June 2016.
A village center for Trebnitz
The Remise, located at the entrance to the castle driveway, served in the estate era as a stable and shelter for the inspector’s carriage. Heavily damaged during the Second World War, it was later rebuilt as a residential building. For decades, the building fell increasingly into disrepair. On March 20, 2015 – after almost one year of construction – the new village center was officially inaugurated.

The restoration of the Remise and the development of the village center were funded by the European Union and Aktion Mensch.
