About us

Schloss Trebnitz is an international educational and meeting center with a German-Polish focus. Here, children, young people, and adults meet for programs in cultural, political, and intercultural education. In addition, the association is committed to the region.

Trebnitz is a village in the district of Märkisch-Oderland, located between Märkische Schweiz and the Oderbruch – a place that enables learning and encounters in the calm of a rural setting.

Focus areas of educational work

  • International youth encounters and creative workshops (art, theatre, music, film, dance, writing)
  • Historical and political education (including democracy, Europe, sustainability, contemporary history)
  • German-Polish youth and cross-border projects
  • Cultural events, concerts, and discussion formats
  • Training courses and conferences for professionals
  • Adult education according to the Brandenburg Continuing Education Act

Certificates

  • Recognized as an adult education institution under the Brandenburg Continuing Education Act since 2014.
  • Recognized as an approved provider by the Federal Agency for Civic Education since 2015.
  • Since 2018, recognized by the State of Brandenburg as the “Residential Education Centre of Schloss Trebnitz e.V.”
