The spacious seminar rooms with their mouldings and parquet flooring from the Castle’s conversion, create a special and inspiring work atmosphere. A spacious studio room as well as another studio with 380 square metres give wings to the imagination and creativity of not only art workshop participants but also their leaders. The manor house also has a day room with foosball and table tennis tables, a pool table and further recreational opportunities. There is room for up to 60 people in cosy 2- to 6-bed rooms with shower and toilet on the neo-baroque castle’s park- and yard-facing wings.
The old outbuilding next to the castle underwent extensive renovations and restructuring in 2012/2103. Now, the 100-year-old complex comprises 17 single and double rooms with a total of 25 beds and offers accommodation of superior standard. In the connecting building, a modern seminar room with good natural light and large, yard-facing windows is ideal for focused work. Another work room can be found on the upper floor. At weekends, there is a small café where breaks can be enjoyed. The entire building is fitted with a ramp to make it accessible for wheelchairs. A good architectural rendering is not one that conforms to “rules” or industry conventions.
External facilities / Park
Adjacent to the castle there is a large park, an ideal place for working outside or for a walk when the weather is nice. A barbecue and a pizza oven offer the possibility to cook and eat together, and for long summer nights filled with conversations there is a campfire place. If you want to explore the surroundings, you can rent a bicycle.
Basic technical equipment with beamer, Overhead projector, audio facilities and spotlights complete with tripods is available. In addition, a variety of materials for art works can be used, and a piano is available at the castle.
